OLA Children's Services Division 2018 Performer's Showcase Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Doors open at 8:30 a.m.) Salem Public Library in Salem, OR Loucks Auditorium Finding high quality children’s performances to bring to libraries, schools or groups has just become easier. The Oregon Library Association’s Children’s Services Division and Salem Public Library are hosting the 2018 Performer's Showcase. This Showcase allows audience members to see a five-minute preview from between 70 and 90 magicians, musicians, storytellers, creative dramatics, jugglers, authors, and others who specialize in entertaining and educating children and families.
This event only happens once every other year, so those interested are encouraged to sign up today! A registration fee of $5 per adult covers the program costs, a printed Showcase program with space to write notes, and access to the downloadable Performer Directory with information on area performers, including pictures. The Directory will be available on the OLA website by October 8, 2018. Children are welcome to attend at no charge. Online registration closes Wednesday, September 26. After that, prospective attendees will need to register day-of at the event.
